I am a creative professional with over 20 years of photo research and editing experience. I spent the last eight years researching primarily travel, wildlife and nature images and video for Microsoft’s Bing.com search engine homepage. I had the good fortune of diving daily into photo libraries in search of images that captured my eye and imagination with the goal of inspiring wonder, awe, humor and fresh perspectives to millions of users. I love going down rabbit holes in search of the perfect image - the detours along the way that spark and satiate my curiosity often yield the best new content and ideas. I love creative collaboration and being part of a team working with people I can learn from. The images in these galleries are examples of my photo research work on Bing - stock images from amazing photo libraries thoughtfully curated and selected to illustrate editorial events and concepts.
Prior to my work on Bing, I worked at Microsoft for 9 years. I was the Managing Photo Editor for MSN.com when image and editorial content was curated and produced by myself and an in-house editorial team. I led a team of five photo editors where we delivered and produced news, lifestyle, and sports images under daily publishing deadlines with ever shifting priorities.
My passions include travel, wildlife, architecture, design, anything that is bioluminescent and of course…photography.
